ICT is developing cery rapidaly. our parents will understand that in a society where radio was the first and television the last source of information.This dramatic development in the ICT sector is the result of new discoveries in the fields of science,defence and business.They are in computer,PC,microprocessors,the internet and wireless links.

Five Phase of ICT-

1.Phase(1)- The first stage in the evolution of ICT is known as the electromagnetic calculator during world war 2,and the invention of the transistor in 1947 led to the development of small but versatile computers. As ino=put-output technology changed from cards from magnetic tape."became a catch word. 

2.Phase(2)-The Second phase of related to evolution is associated with the development of personal computers during 1970's.Development of chip technology and manufacturing msgnetic discs transformed huge computers into Deshtops,which are called personal computers.Data Processing,accounting,and graphics became very easy.
3.Phase(3)-The third stage of ICT evoliution is associated with the development of the microprocessor.A microprocessor,a multi-ourpose,programmable device that accept degital data as input,process is sccording to instructions stored in its memory,and produces result as output.The microprocessor reduced the cost of processing power.
 
 
4.Phase(4)- The fourth stage of ICT evolution is networking.The internet is a significant development in the ICT sector,from connecting computers in small grographical areas for defense and education to connecting computers around the world.social networking is a product of this intoduction and has accelerated this evolution.
 
5.Phase(5)- The fifth stage of ICT evolution is related to the development of wireless,which is relevant today.This stage began with the invention of the mobile phone.The early mobile phones were large and bulky.Now mobile phones are used to send message,talk,take pictures and music,browse,navigate.satellite phones have us to be connected even without telephones and cell phones.
