The development of educational technology has given priority to the use of ICT in education.In The present era,ICT has all strengths of the past,educational technology,even the field of educational technology has been named ICT.ICT includes traditional as well as modern educational technology.
The integration of ICT in the educational field has happened due two major reasons,firstly,we have started looking at the learning n\ process in a new way and consequently the teaching methods.secondly,the evolution of new technologies that can meet the needs from the first cloud.



Paradigm shift-For much of the 20th century,behaviorism dominated as the central theory that governed the principles practiced in educational practice.In this form of teaching,models of instruction primarily belived in "information transfer".from the last decade of the 20th century,educational practice began to be heavily influenced by the theoretical position of "constrativism".One of the forms of constructivism,social constructivism,posited that knowledge creation is a process during learning.The theroretical position took education beyound the confiness of the classroom.together,these opened up new educatinal possibilities both inside and outside the classroom.pedagogical methods shefted from lecture mode to interactive mode.



Convergence of technology and telecommunication-The convergence of technology and telecommunication is due to parallel development in the technology.social networking has become a virtual reality, a means of communicating with people humdrends of thousands of kilometers away.In particular,,it has become a reality,the varrier of distance for communication has been removed.New ways have become available.Express yourself in the form of blog and micro-blog.The digital revolution has made data processing much easier to handle.In others words,ICT provides an ideal platform for teaching in a new paradigm.
